McMaster University and University of Western Ontario held their annual Jack Wyatt Urology Residents’ Research Day on May 14th 2010. This consisted of both resident research presentations and State of the Art Lectures by faculty members from both institutions, as well as a Guest Professor lecture by Dr. John Fitzpatrick entitled “A European Perspective of Prostate Cancer Screening”. There was also a raucous Reach for the Top session, pitting residents from McMaster and UWO against each other in terms of general and clinical urologic knowledge.
We are pleased to report that Dr. Ayman Raees (PGY-4) placed second over all in the residents’ presentations presentation with “Neonatal Circumcision Practice in Southwestern Ontario: Need for a Strucured Training Tool”.
