For almost thirty years McMaster University has provided Standardized Patients as a valuable professional development tool. Through the use of standardized simulation, faculty and staff have opportunities to develop, refine and assess interpersonal and clinical skills in a risk free environment, to an otherwise real and sensitive situation, therefore reducing anxiety. Standardized Patients provide objective feedback to the participant.
