CHAR/GE Healthcare Development Awards Program

Members of Canadian professional organizations in the radiological sciences are invited to apply for awards in the following categories:

CATEGORY 1 First Prize – RESEARCH AWARD – Radiology Staff
One prize of up to $7,500 will be awarded for a:

  • Scientific project that enhances scholarship and an academic department.

CATEGORY 2 First Prize – RESEARCH AWARD – Radiology Resident
One prize of up to $7,500 will be awarded for a:

  • Scientific project that enhances scholarship and an academic department.

CATEGORY 1 or 2 Second Prize – RESEARCH AWARD – Radiology Staff or Resident
One prize of up to $5,000 may be awarded to a member of staff or resident for a:

  • Scientific project that enhances scholarship and an academic department.

CATEGORY 3 – TRAVEL AWARD
One prize of up to $3,000 may be awarded for:

  • Travel by a staff radiologist to learn a clinical or research technique that is required in order to carry out a scientific research study or pilot study.
