Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre (ATRC)

General Description and Overview

Director: McCabe, Randi (PhD); Associate Professor

The ATRC is a multidisciplinary outpatient specialty unit receiving more than 1000 new referrals per year. In addition to offering evidence-based assessment and treatment services, the ATRC is among the most active anxiety research centres in Canada. Research interests of clinic staff members include the development of short-term, cost effective assessments and treatments for anxiety, and the investigation of cognitive, behavioural, and biological factors in the etiology and treatment of anxiety disorders.
