Problem-Based Learning
Problem based learning helps our students to keep pace with the continually
expanding knowledge base in the health sciences.
• students must become life-long, self-motivated
learners;
• learning takes place in small group tutorials and is
problem-based and self-directed; and
• progress is monitored by continuous personal and group evaluation.
Specific areas of the Faculty of Health Sciences offer workshops and
programs relating to problem-based learning. They include:
