Thank you for your interest in the Electives Program, at the Michael G DeGroote School of Medicine, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario.

To better accommodate your elective requests we NOW have an ONLINE APPLICATION.


We will no longer be accepting paper copies of our application. If you have already sent in a paper application we will still process when it arrives in our office UNTIL October 3, 2011. Any paper applications we receive AFTER October 3, 2011 will be returned with a request to apply online.

Please note that our fees have changed to the following:

2 weeks $150

3-4 weeks $200

5-6 weeks $250

If we cannot find you a placement your fee will be returned with the exception of the $50 non-refundable administration fee.
