Margaret and Charles Juravinski have shown their support for innovation and a commitment to excellence with a donation of $1 million to enhance the Faculty of Health Sciences’ quest to provide stellar post-secondary education. The Margaret & Charles Juravinski Education, Research & Development Centre is a central home for educators who are in the vanguard of research on new ways to teach health science students.
The couple is pleased to support the groundbreaking research that will help the University better educate future generations of health care professionals. "We want to lead by example and would urge anyone who is able and is considering giving, to do so," said Mr. Juravinski. "It is a remarkably rewarding experience."
For the Juravinskis, supporting the centre is one way to give back to the community they love.
