Academic Interests
Dr. Akhtar-Danesh is a biostatistician and his research interests include survival analysis (including analysis of recurrent data and competing risks), structure of fabricated data sets, structural Equation Modeling, modeling risk factors of obesity and depression, meta-analysis, Q-methodology (a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods for the study of subjectivity), and tool (questionnaire) development.
